Fleeting feelings

Life throws googlies at us all the time,
So do we face ’em or yell and whine?
We go about our day, stuff happens,
Raising our spirits or causing them to dampen.
We all live separate lives, speak varied tongues,
But in having feelings, we all are together, we’re one.
Just as birds flying in the sky,
With each moment, feelings fleet by.
When we see the homeless by the roadside,
Or have no one in whom we can confide,
We feel differently in each situation,
Sometimes making us the subject of beration.
Often, these feelings can be overwhelming,
They fill us with emotions at the moment,
Making us work harder or play truant.
Such fleeting feelings fill our day,
As time passes by, so do they.
